An adult who is sexually attracted to a minor, but will not do or say anything remotely sexual about them until that minor is the age of an legal adult.

Red flags for these kind of people would be things like someone saying they've waited for someone to turn 18

Lets say a girl turns 18 & a week later she decides to create an Onlyfans page & an adult replies with something like "I've waited for this" at that point it is fair to think they're a Closet pedo

Closet pedo 

1) An older individual, usually middle aged, who intentionally seeks sexual partners who are as close to underage as they can legally get (18-22ish).

2) A pedophile who's (thankfully) too afraid to hurt an actual child.

Person one: "I didn't know Ken had a granddaughter."

Person two: "That's actually his girlfriend. He's a total closet pedo. He's probably pretending she's 12 right now because 18 somehow isn't creepy enough."
