Cignorance 

The act of being cignorant.

While being in a situation where you should be paying attention and all you can think about is a cigarette, thus missing information.

When your friend asks you for your opinion on the conversation and you have to plead cignorance. "I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention to what was going on. I was thinking about a cigarette."
