The elite friendship rank achieved when two friends perform a ceremonial butt bump (typically bare butt or in skivies) to officially level up their bond beyond BFF status. Unlike a handshake, fist bump, or hug, a Buttys declaration signifies a friendship so strong that nothing can hinder the relationship. Considered the final evolution of friendship, reserved only for trusted companions who have survived PVP gaming, group chats, inside jokes, and questionable life decisions together.
