Bro-Zone is the direct area around a male that is generally unacceptable to be in unless you are "getting it on". It is a spinoff of the more widely accepted O-Zone, which is the area around the Earth that contains the elements which make the planet livable for human beings. If someone unwanted is in your Bro-zone then it is in danger of being depleted, making it uncomfortable to exist until they leave.

It has been speculated that women do not endup in the friend zone as frequently as men. But where they may endup is in the Bro Zone.
Though some consider it a male version of the friend zone; it is widely accepted that the Bro Zone is worse for the poor women stuck in it.
In essence it is when a woman is crowned "one of the guys." She's considered to be part of the dude pack without the sexual tension. Men behave without restraint around the individual; not worrying about what the woman might think or wether they impress her or not. She is accepted and embraced into the pack as an equal. In short, "she's a dude."

Women with mostly male friends are more susceptible to have several Bro Zone's. Also, most women in the Bro Zone do have a love interest they fail to impress because of the Zone. They endup listening to their love interests' girlfriend problems and, at times, his sexual encounters. All culminating with him saying "you're such an awesome friend."

the "bro-zone" can be defined as an area in which a girl has entered when befriending a guy. Usually occurring with tomboys and their guy friends, when the male friend acknowledges the girl's actions (assuming that the girl is a tomboy) reffers to her as a "bro" or "another one of the guys". At this point the girl in question has entered the bro-zone. The bro-zone eliminates any possible chance of the friends having any sexual or relationship interest, and renders any chance of escaping the bro-zone hopeless.
Katie: So how was hanging out with Chad and his friends?
Marcy: *sigh* he called me his "buddy"...his "bro"
Katie: ooooo hate to say this...you're permanantly in his bro-zone.

Bro-zoning is when a girl is referred to as "Bro" by a guy. This can happen whether said girl likes said guy or not, and is more likely to happen if the girl is a gamer. Level of insult is dependent on how many guys have bro-zoned said girl before you do.

1. We will come over at random hours of the day to crash on the couch and raid your fridge.
2. When I do a crime, you have bail money.
3. You ask me if I want to grab a bit or eat to drink. You’re buying. Look your just buying overall till informed of that come up I’ve been working on.
4. You will hook us up with your friends, sisters, cousins, and any female you may know. Even your mom may get the stiff one if hot enough.
5. I am not your kids uncle. This is in case we smash. Last thing you need is kids saying your smashing their uncle.
Really, we become that douche bag you’re friend zoning us for. Y’all just don’t understand some of the blood, sweat, and tears we have gone through with our friends. Trust me, you don’t want that in your life. The Bro Zone is the safest bet.
