Old Southern Slang term for someone who is Unemployed; typically desperate for cash and willing to do anything to get by
Hank: "Say, you wouldn't happen to see that damn bastard at the corner harassing drivers on their way to work, did you?"

Boomhauer: "Man, dem' Brick Walkers dun' gon' 'round blessin' for cash all dang ol' day, i tell ya h'wat"

Breadhead 

Someone who is addicted to obtaining money and building wealth. A money addict and fanatic. Breadheads often work more than one full-time job, and some even participate in illicit activities to "obtain the bread".
A breadhead is like a crackhead, but for money instead of crack.
