Similar to being catfished or fatfished, bratfished means the person you went on a date with was not immediately up front with the fact that they have children.

Jake: Hey, how'd your date with that hottie go?

Allen: It was great but it turns out she has two kids.

Jake: She didn't tell you that up front?

Allen: No

Jake: Bro, you were bratfished.
