When someone volunteers you for a task with little to no preparation for the task. It typically involves your boss or your bosses boss.

“Hey man I need you to cover down on this meeting at 0900”
“Okay what is it about”
“You’ll find out it’s simple stuff”
“God damn, I’m getting Bork’d””
