Blue Pilling

Blue Pilling describes the act of pretending something is not real or happening. The act of living in delusional reality. Lying to one’s self about their reality. Rejecting the harsh reality and unbiased truth of something, and instead choosing to believe in an alternative reality in order to survive within your belief system and perception of reality.
M: “Gwen’s boyfriend Alex is definitely cheating on her with his friend”
R: “He definitely is! Do you think Gwen notices?”

M: “She would have to be Blue Pilling it if she didn’t notice, it’s impossible to miss! He always leaves her alone at parties to hang out with his best friend Glen!”

R: “She’s definitely Blue Pilling her way through that…”

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
