A heavy insult in Azerbaijani, used to degrade someone by implying that their father is unknown or that they come from a dishonorable background. It literally means “son of a prostitute” and is one of the worst things you can say in a heated argument. The word is deeply offensive and often leads to immediate confrontation. In Azerbaijan, calling someone “bicabala” isn’t just an insult—it’s basically an invitation to get punched in the face. Use it at your own risk, because once it’s out, there’s no taking it back.
• “He talks too much for a bicbala, no one even knows who his father is.”
• “Calling someone a bicbala in Azerbaijan is a guaranteed way to start a fight.”
• “He got so mad when I called him bicbala, I thought he was going to throw hands.”
• “Only a real bicbala would act this shamelessly in public.”
• “In my neighborhood, if you get called bicbala, you better be ready to prove otherwise.”
