If that was land people lived on, they would want to beat somebody or worse for trying to displace them, but when it comes to animals and trees, people seem a lot more forgiving about mowing them down.

The members of our population with totally "non-human" or "wild animal" mindsets (think, Rockefeller-type multi-billionaires, big-biz leaders, government bureaucrats, drug lords, etc.) who "live high on the hog" themselves, but who subject the rest of us to great stress and unfair toil merely to support their unhealthy greed for wealth and power.
They say that the top 1% of the human population controls half of the world's wealth --- seems like these "rich bugs" view all of us as mere beasts of burden to labor and provide for their own selfish luxury and arrogant feelings of control.
