Bappa Roast

A old grandfather of Egyptian origins, with a hint of French ancestry, although people often speculate his real name is Bappa Elsayed, as Roast isn’t very Egyptian. Bappa Roast hasn’t been seen in years, and is thought to have gone missing near the River Nile while trying to spearfish some cod for his dinner. The last reported sighting was him driving a green Jaguar near Cairo.
“Waz went to see Bappa Roast at the weekend, unfortunately Bappa hasn’t returned from Egypt yet”

An Apathetic or Melancholy form of greeting similar to "How's it going" that is similar to saying "Hello" or "Hi" and not actually inquiring how it is going for an individual. This word originates from a Video Game named Hollow Knight and is used as a greeting when you approach one of the merchants in the beginning of the game.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
