blang blang

blang blang is a term that is used to describe a style or aesthetic that emphasizes simplicity, authenticity, and natural beauty. It is often associated with a minimalistic approach that makes effective use of available resources and avoids excess or waste. In contrast to the flashy and often over-the-top style of bling bling, which values ostentatious displays of wealth and extravagance, blang blang values raw, unadorned beauty and is sometimes compared to the Japanese concept of “mottainai,” which emphasizes the importance of avoiding waste and making the most of what one has.

Bling Bang

Term for a Flashy Pistol used by gang members, which is often bright stainless, chrome, or bright nickle with custom grips often made of silver, turquoise, or mother of pearl. May also have fancy engraving, gold inlay, or jewling on certain parts.

Although the term "bling bang" was first introduced by the movie "Blood Diamond" and originally referred to a type of diamond and not guns directly, the term has morphed and is often used on the Urban Street as a term for a flashy gun.

Synonym: Pimp Gun.
Yo, Jamal, I got me this Bling Bang from a Ride-On we done on the Surat boys, da silver grips is da straight dope.

bling bang

Contrary to the first dumbass definition listed here, the term "bling bang" used by Leonardo DiCaprio's character in the movie "Blood Diamond" doesn't refer to a more valuable version of bling bling (idiot!). When he says "You know, in America it's bling bling, but over here it's bling bang" he is referring to the fact that, in America, diamonds are all about fancy jewelry and looking good, but in Africa diamonds are deadly, and could very well get you shot (hence the "bang").
