Those embracing this doctrine stand in vehement opposition to Bernie Sanders, often engaging in vicious and unsupportable attacks to undermine, degrade and embarrass Bernie Sanders and those who want to reorder the conventional social, political, and economic principles of society to make them equitable for everyone. The term was first used in the modern sense in 2015, by those opposed to establishment democrats and determined to elect Bernie Sanders.
Anti-Bernieism is more prevalent amongst the punditry class and it is not at all reflective of the general population.
