A.D.O.

Acronym Dependent Organization (A.D.O.): Any small or large organization (private, public, or voluntary) that regularly uses acronyms to describe any organizational structures, products, or activities in an attempt to increase efficiency and clarity but often with the opposite effect. Often used ironically to denote overuse of acronyms by offending organization.

The U.S.G., with the DoD, DoJ, D.H.S., DoS, and D.N.I., is the biggest A.D.O. in the U.S.A.
