A sun-like star that is located about 45 light years away from our sun in the constellation Scorpio. It is, in fact, according to NASA, the star that is most similar to our sun in size, heat, and age compared to other stars in our stellar neighborhood.

18 Scorpio has become one of the top 100 target stars for NASA's planned Terrestrial Planet Finder.
