Get the The dark knight mug.Full length Batman themed crime drama about crooked asian financiers, lowlife thugs, political maneuvering in unstable times and Batman, who's basically a black clad modern warrior/vigilante who's being attacked by a comically insane clown, the film has references to terrorism, and the Batman mythology in general. Alfred, Commissioner Gordon and the Scarecrow all appear, but seemingly as 'their real life selves' rather than in hideous make-up CGI comic book fantasy fare.
The films a well written, though difficult-to-follow crime thriller by Christopher Nolan, which got mostly hugely positive reviews, and seemed to stand convincingly on its own as a movie project, rather than as a sequel or part of some horrid 'franchise'.
