Crotch Dog

In politics when a partisan claims that they are a 'watch dog' but somehow they never expose the lies, frauds and crimes of those that they support they can be called a 'crotch dog' instead of a watch dog.

The Mayor's watch dog Steve exposes the lies of every politician except for the Mayor... that's because Steve isn't a watch dog he's a crotch dog who likes to sniff the Mayoral Balls.
