cold snap

The opposite of a heat wave. In the North when there is a cold snap it can fall far below zero degrees Fahrenheit and everything becomes very brittle and easy to snap or fracture, such as trees making cracking noises when they bend with the wind or your home's water pipes splitting.

Make sure you have some hats and blankets in your car in case you break down. We are going to have a huge cold snap this week.

An alcoholic beverage, preferably beer, that is very cold and delicious. The term is derived from one of three brothers from a small Southeast Texas town called Dayton.

the cold j is a form of big j invented by the vikings in the late 7th century. To perform a cold j the woman (or in some cases men) would hold ice, freezing water or cold iron in their mouth for 30 seconds to an hour. Then Viking ding dong would then be cold j'd until satisfied.

the only thing better than a big j is a cold j on a tuesday night.
