switchtalker

In text-based roleplaying, a switchtalker is a player who puts their character's speech in quotes, when the norm in such settings is to put emotes between asterisks or other delimiting punctuation and assume that anything else is speech. In some communities, the reverse might be true. In general it's a lot clearer and less confusing if everyone's characters emote and talk in a consistent way.

While it isn't usually subject to enforcement, some players may refuse to play with switchtalkers.

That player is a switchtalker and I find it really difficult to read what their characters are doing.

Mental switchboard

A rock band. Contains a drummer, lead, bassist, vocalist. They sing covers e.x Smells like teen spirit, holiday, mamakin. Also they have written a bunch of songs. Their most popular one is 'down n out'. Many people look up to them as idols and look forward to seeing them play again. i wish I could say the same for the rest. There attire is black band t-shirts. Hopefully you will be able to hear them because once you hear them you will be addicted.
