Mercenary

The mercenary is a professional wrrior, who is often hired as a skilled defender or fighter. Mercenaries go out to the highest bidder, and lack any sense of honor, but they are very skilled at fighting, often relying upon their cache of dirty tricks to defeat an opponent. Mercenaries are not very trustworthy, and often will switch alliances in the midst of a battle.

Mercenaries swept across the land, only to be rehired by those once their enemies.

the term used in the gay community for the presumed tendency lesbians have of quickly moving together after dating for a short period of time. See U-haul lesbian.
Although not unique to lesbian couples, this behavior is stereotypically attributed to lesbians.
The comedian Lea DeLaria joked:

Q: What does a lesbian bring on the second date?

A: A U-haul.

The U-haul joke symbolizes the lesbian urge to merge.

California merge

When entering a highway or freeway, when you don't merge from the entrance ramp to the road itself until the entrance lane ends, and just expect that Moses will part the traffic for you so you don't end up smashed between a semi and one of those fat-ass Hummers. So named because the sheeple in California, too oblivious to reality to actually take the initiative and merge when there's an opening *before* the lane ends, are particuarly fond of this traffic maneuver.

"Look at me, I'm following the solid white line onto the highway because I suck at life."

A Mereena is someone you should want and keep. Her name defines her uniqueness. She is sexy, funny, smart, loving, and everyone's friend. Although, she may have a weird and quirky side, but nothing awkward. Mereenas are chill, easy going and helpful. She always helps when she can and gives the best advice when asked.
