Local H

A 2-man grunge/alternative rock band from Chicago who has consistently created good songs with catchy riffs and clever lyrics since 1995 and received positive reviews from critics, yet has not broken into the mainstream. Examples of good songs include Bound For The Floor, Everyone Alive, and BMW Man.

Locals

A local is somebody who is just basic. They like all the generic mainstream artists and don't have their own sense of style or taste; they just like everything based on what is popular. They usually have crushes on generic hot boys/girls that everyone knows is conventionally attractive but not actually attractive. Some locals claim to be fans of different celebrities but only like the celebrity for their looks and haven't heard their sounds/ seen their movies.

They also think they're quirky for liking 'unique' things when really everyone else also likes those things.

- Ugh, my school is full of locals, I wish someone around here was different.

Marion Local

Marion Local is made up of an itty bitty collection of church congregations that all go to the same school. Everyone you encounter is probably blond with blue eyes, semi tall and all have the same birth defect. All the guys egos are bigger than their dicks. The girls are loose lipped (take that as you please) bitches and their band sucks. The “town” also has a cult symbolized by the Flyer on their driveway. What the fuck is a flyer anyway?
