drone(n): A drone is someone who follows an ideology or some other form of idealization blindlessly and uncritically.

The nouns original meaning is used in context with "social" insects, which are ordered into a hive structure. In an insect hive, drones are the workers - the ones gathering food, building the hive - in short: maintaining the hive, controlled by the queen, if not by some common instinctual fellowship and hierarchal order.

You're all a bunch of music industry drones.

A good looking, well dressed, but fairly dim - and usually female - person who works in a marketing or PR department, obsessed with such useless concepts as "branding" and "synergy".

Dronfield ironing board

A sex technique involving two men, three women and an indeterminite number of geese. The protagonist repeatedly rams his fists up the anus and urethra of one of the female participants, while the others prance around them in jester's garb, making witty repartee, clicking their fingers, occasionally coughing. As the female begins to rupture, the second male begins inserting live geese up the lead's anus (a feat requiring some dexterity and strength) while quoting from the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Once the death of both leads has been confirmed, those remain continue as per a regular Celine Dion.

Can be done with ducks instead of geese in which case it is known as a Clitheroe cheesegrater.

Diversity Drone

Anyone who mindlessly adheres to the diversity creed.

Prone to Drone: Self-identified 'liberals'; moralistic vigilantes; anthropology majors.

Life cycle: Many people assimilate into drone-life after discovering that diversity is the solution to world conflict, becoming so obsessed with this ideal that their personality merges with the Hive-Mind. This causes them to engage in stereotyped and predictable behaviors such as: obtaining student leadership positions, becoming obstinately opposed to stereotypes, and becoming hateful towards the imagined Oppressor. Drones typically die off after obtaining jobs in the outside world.

How to recognize a drone: Drones can often be heard buzzing about "ethnic identity", "tolerance", and "multiculturalism", esp. when pressed about their comprehension of diversity. You won't find a depth of knowledge here, only the clever wielding of words to shame and demonize. Do not threaten further. Drones command the power of a guilty Nation.

worker drone

A "worker drone" is a man who accepts the social role of working full time for an income that he will give away to a woman or to support his family. His intention isn't necessarily altruistic, but in practice his actions become self-denying to the point of nihilism. This social role is strongly distinct from the "alpha male" and largely coincides with the "wage slave" and "beta provider." The term comes from the role of drones in a bee hive.

dronabinol

Dronabinol is synthetic tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, which is the active ingredient of marijuana. It is an FDA-approved cannabinoid and is prescribed as an appetite stimulant, primarily for AIDS, chemotherapy and gastric bypass patients. It was also FDA approved as an anti-nauseant, in order to better address the nausea experienced after chemotherapy treatments. The brand name is Marinol. Users seeking to use the drug recreationally will find the effects to be very different and much less potent than actually using the marijuana plant. This is because only THC is present in dronabinol, while the marijuana plant has many more cannabinoids and ingredients that will get the user high.
