All the ads on urban dictionary. legit saw one that said "he posted this picture of his dog, and people immediately called the police." what actually happened was some guy started posting pics of his dog, and people loved it. eventually the the police saw it and they thought his dog was a bulldog and bulldogs were illegal in his town. they told him that he can't have that dog in the town but then turns out it wasn't a bulldog and everything was fine.

Clickbait Communicator

A person who purposely makes vague statements in an attempt to make you engage with them in conversation, or in some cases to upset you.

Examples of a Clickbait communicator

EX GF: Based on everything that has transpired between us, I am now going to proceed.
EX BF: Proceed with what?
EX GF: I'm taking final action based on the circumstances.
EX BF: What does that mean? Are you OK?
EX GF: Yeah everything is great!!!!

Coworker: I just talked to the boss and got some really interesting information on the down low.

You: OK, what's up?
Coworker: Nothing much; just some things that are going to happen.
You: What are you trying to tell me?
Coworker: Nothing really, we just had a discussion. It was nothing.

Clickbait

A genre of video mainly on the platform YouTube which features a title and thumbnail about the game Fortnite that has something that looks cool or trending, but when clicked, the video is not about what the thumbnail was and is a poorly edited or not edited at all video about unedited Fortnite which usually results in a significant loss of braincells.

Grownup College Dropout: gets up
"I really want views on YouTube, but how? I don't know how to make good content."
"Hey look! There's that trending game Fortnite! I'll make a video about me playing Fortnite! Now I just need a cool thumbnail, and I'll be famous!"
Gets free fortnite thumbnail template and makes title of video "OMG!! You won't BELIEVE this trickshot in Fortnite! (99 KILLS IN DOUBLES) (*INSANE*) (YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!)
goes from 2 subs to 9Mil

Radio show presenters/hosts who do not achieve their status by merit or talent but by their ability to divide opinion and create social media mountains out of molehills. They are also prepared to endorse conversational topics which would, in regular discussion, send a glass-eye to sleep. Naturally, they think twitter is a reflection of the zeitgeist.
