Care

1. A sarcastic way of saying "I don't care."

2. An ironic form of saying "I don't care."

The differences are how they are conveyed in a particular situation, or who it is conveyed to.

Sarcasm : Person 1. "I can deadlift 430lbs" Person 2. "Care"

Irony/Sarcasm : Friend 1. "Guys, i just looked, and im down 75lbs now!" Friend 2. "Care" *all friends laugh*

Irony : Friend 1. "Yeah bro, i dropped 32 kills in warzone yest-" Person 1. "Warzone?! I love that game, i win every single game i play." Friend 2. "Care" *Friends laugh* Person 1. *confused* "Thanks, we should play some time!"

Going out of your way to do what's best for yourself, especially at the cost of those closest to you, while insisting its for their good and that you have their best interests at heart.

"I care about you, that's why I spent our last 60 bucks on food out for me when you needed gas."

"I'm so caring. Last night I got myself a mani pedi with my boyfriends money without asking."

"It's really caring of you when you insist we eat what you want even though I am allergic to it."

When someone acts like they don't care about anything to the extent where they are just seen as a care human being. Can often be confused with caring, but is actually the opposite.
