In the majority of cases, they are just troll bots trying to appear as real persons and as such trying to persuade/influence readers into distrusting democratic values, undermining European/Western defense efforts, or more generally, supporting Kremlin politics. They often appear in packs, supporting their fellow rubotniks' views, in an effort to amplify their simulated, pretended world view.
