Techno Swinger

The act of switching to different technology at ones will to keep up with growing technological trends.

Switching between electronics between a day and a month.

Throwing away old technology like a PC and getting a Mac then buying another PC relizing that all your friends are using a PC.

A: You get that new Alienware laptop?
B: Nah I'm fine with my Vaio, I'm not Techno Swinger

A: You think this Mac is gonna make me look like a Techno Swinger?
B: considering that you just baught a PC yeaterday? Hell yea

What do you get when you cross Harold Camping and technology punditry?

You get a doom-and-gloom prediction of the demise of a technology or technology company, based largely on conjecture and uninformed speculation.

When (pundit) swears that (technology company) is on the verge of collapse because their senior management was overheard by (unreliable source) to be looking into using Voodoo as a means of retaining their customer base, that pundit is technocamping.

minimal techno

a synthesizer-generated type of music characterized by a bpm (beat-per-minute) tempo of 140 on average. Minimal techno seems to be an offshoot of Rotterdam hardcore, the type of extremely-fast music in vogue on the dance-floors of the Dutch city. In the US, DJs/Producers like Jeff Mills (Detroit) have championed the sound since the early 90s and can be heard unleasing the hard, take-no-prisoners sounds of minimal techno at dancefloors across the globe. he is most popular, it seems, in Europe and, Japan.
