The term used for an old couch that one has attached wheels to and uses for transportation and/or racing.
couch machine's are not common, however the few groups of people producing them are extremely compettitive and are very serious about the "sport"

Guy1: Hey man guess what me an rob are doing this weekend.
Guy2: what?
Guy1: Meeting Jusitn and Cody at the hill with the couch machine we built yesterday...gonna be sickk
