The scorpion is performed by two perpetrators on a victim: one perpetrator gives the victim a double titty twister from behind, causing the victim to instinctively arch his back. When this happens, the second perpetrator punches the victim in the ballsac.

When someone expresses great distress over something of little impact to themselves and humanity as a whole.
Taken from the X-Men Animated Series Episode "Captive Hearts". Annalee, a projecting empath, uses her powers on Wolverine who, as we know, is nearly invincible/heals almost instantly from almost all attacks. She begins chanting "Covered with scorpions. All covered with scorpions!" and Wolvie begins to hallucinate scorpions all over his body. He exlclaims in a frightened manner "No! Covered with scorpions! GET THEM OFF ME!" Thus, getting worked up over something that will honestly not effect him.
