pear shaped

A British expression used to indicate that something has gone horribly wrong with a person's plans, most commonly in the phrase "It's all gone pear shaped." The origin is unclear, but one theory says that it is RAF slang relating to the difficulty of performing aerobatic loops, which were described as "pear shaped" if executed imperfectly.

"Howard Dean must have thought he was a shoo-in for the Democratic presidential nomination, but somehow in the primaries it all went pear shaped."

pear dream

1. The occasion of having a nightmare and waking up from it, only to soon discover that you didn't really wake up at all. And repeat.
Best if each pseudo-waking involves conversing with someone sleeping beside you.

2. (in cinema) When a film has an eerie moment involving a nightmare which a character is unable to wake up from. The character will continuously wake up each time by gasping and sitting up in bed. Usually a cheap attempt at something psychological or "artistic", with vague dialogue from the character/s feigning profoundness.
Also usually followed up by an interesting experiment with camera techniques, and some vague imagery hinting at existentialism. Always done with suspenseful music.

A woman with large hips and big butt and a small waist with little or no breast.
Still a very attractive figure. Men usually prefer a big bottom then boobs.

pear in a peach tree

pears don't grow on peach trees so it's out of place. but it's a double entendre in that it's a "pair" in a peach tree, i.e. when you're with someone and you two are out of place.

Two democrats standing in a Trump convention recognize each other from their donkey hats and say "aren't we just a pair/pear in a peach tree".
