88 BoaDrum

An 88 minute long experimental composition that was played on the date 8/8/08, started at 8:08 PM, and involved 88 drummers. The original idea was conceived by the Boredoms, a Japanese experimental music group. They started it with 77 BoaDrum, which took place at Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park, in Brooklyn, NY. 88 BoaDrum was actually 2 separate concerts. The concerts took place at the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, California and the Williamsburg waterfront in Brooklyn, New York. The LA concert was hosted by the Boredoms, and the NY concert by Gang Gang Dance.

Great album by Soundgarden, their third album to be exact. Went double platinum.

Guitarrist Kim Thayil jokingly suggested the name as a play on the Montrose song "Bad Motor Scooter."

Has the popular songs Outshined, Rusty Cage, and Jesus Christ Pose. Other great songs too!

Rusty Cage appeared on GTA: San Andreas "Radio X" fictional station.
