Guardian of the Center of the Universe 

A homeless man who sat in the corner booth of the white castles at the intersection of 119th Street and Indianapolis Blvd in Whiting, IN from the 1970s to 1990s. Do to its proximity to Chicago, during the 1930s this intersection was one of the busiest intersections in the country. There was once the architectural landmark of the Illiana Hotel but it was demolished during the early 90s. The only remenant of its long vibrant history is aforementioned White Castles

A book by Douglas Adams. Main characters inclued Ford Prefect, Authur Dent, Marvin the depressed robot, Trillian McMillan, and Zaphod Beeblebrox. Soon to be a movie. The answer to Life the Universr and everything was found to be 42 by Deep Thought. The question is thought to be "What is 6X7?", but unfortunately the computer designed to formulate the question was destroyed by Vogons for an interstellar highway. Also a FAQ game that is supposed to be stupid beyond belief.

The Used 

The Used is an amazing band, who have amazing lyrics. They have 7 albums: Demos From The Basment, The Used, Maybe Memories, In Love and Death, Berth, Lies for the Liars, and Shallow Believer. But only 4 of them are studio records(The Used, In Love and Death, and Lies For the Liars.)
The band consists of Bert Mccracken on vocals; Quinn Allman on guitar; Jepha Howard on bass; and Dan Whitesides on the drums, although Branden Steineckert was the original drummer but was kicked out in the summer of 2006.

The Used are from Orem, Utah. They have toured with Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, Goldfinger, Linkin Park on their Projekt Revolution tour, Warped Tour, and recently headlined Get A Life Tour.

It is very hard to classify The Used into a genre but overall they are a rock band.

Their older albums are a bit harder, with more screaming, but their new cd Lies For the Liars has a more jazzy sound to it, along with some more slow songs, the song Wake the Dead, pretty much sums up what their whole entire new album sounds like.

Bert Mccracken has a great voice, he can hit and hold the high notes and he can scream till he throws up(which he does often on stage). Along with Quinn's complex guitar riffs, Jepha's bass rhythms and Branden's beats, makes The Used one of the best bands out there today.

The Union 

This was the official name of the North during the American Civil War. The soldiers were identified with blue uniforms, and different trim colors according to which ever branch of the army they belonged to. i.e. Cavalry=Yellow and Dark Blue; Artillery=Red and Dark Blue.
The Union consisted of 34 states: Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas, California, Nevada, Oregon, and others.
After four years of brutal, off and on fighting, as well as the invasion of Northern States (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania), the determined and enduring stance of the Union finally prevailed, and the South was defeated.

The Union was able to destroy and thoroughly shut out the southern Confederacy.
