The identity of a specific person. There are cisgender people, those who were assigned male or female at birth and identify with the sex assigned to them. Cisgender males us the pronouns He/Him, whereas cisgender females use the pronouns She/Her. ie: An afab person who identifies as female. There are also those who fall under the transgender umbrella, which is nonbinary, MtF, FtM, bigender, agender, genderfluid, etc. Transgender people don't identify with the sex given to them at birth. ie: A amab person who identifies as female.
