when there is an overload of senses to shoppers when they go to a shelf and it is filled to the brim with eyecatching/bright colored boxes making the shopper overwhelmed and angry.

Shopper: "AARRRGGH! Muh Eyes! Muh Head! Too...Many...Things...Trying To Get My Attention!"
Shopper #2: "Ha ha, you just got Shelf Shock!"

Referring to an objects storage requirements.

This kind is shelfable, it doesn't go in the fridge like regular bacon, it's precooked.
