Console Ego

A phrase used to describe a gamer who has been disillusioned to think they are better than they really are. The core reason why they think they are better than what they really are is because they were accustomed to stomping low skilled dad gamers and squeakers in console lobbies (AI lobbies). The most common scenarios where the console ego is heard is when a console player switches to PC, and still holds the belief that they are the best even though they are probably mediocre when compared to the PC population.

"Yeah not sure why he still think's he's good, dude definitely has a console ego."
