An exclamation to pronounce a chat of any sort “dead”, due to lack of messages being sent. This is usually acceptable after a few minutes have passed since the last message in said chat was sent. At the same time, it is also a vague attempt to revive chat, by bringing its death to the attention of everyone involved. It is a combination of the words “chat” and “dead”.
