Red Lion

The Red Lion is a street name for the most respected, and looked up to person in a town, community, or group. He is often referred to as the top dog, king of the jungle, top of the food chain, the big boss. The Red Lion has an impeccable reputation for being intelligent, charming, good looking, creative, powerful, and well respected. He is generally a leader of whichever group or community he is a part of. The title of Red Lion insinuates a certain level of respect and authority. People always look up to him, and usually wish to be in his presence. He is well liked by everyone he meets, and although fills an authoritative role, is a very kind and gentle human being, unless provoked.

The name Red Lion originates from a combination of the traits of a lion (King of the jungle) and the fact that the original Red Lion has a red beard and majestic long curly hair, resembling a lions mane.

Person One: Who is that guy?

Person Two: You don't know? That's the Red Lion, that guy is amazing. I want to be him one day.

Awkward Lion King

A gesture used to indicate an awkward situation. Both hands are raised above the head in a manner similar to Rafiki in the Lion King when presenting baby Simba. It is important that the gesture is done awkwardly.
