A word prescribing the end / final / shutdown of a sentence or conversation; where the writer of the lol is either over the conversation and wants to move on (possibly as they know the other person wont cyber with them or answer their a/s/l query), or the recipient of the lol abruptly finds themselves with nothing to respond to - thus the painful end of conversation.

"LOL" is a stupid internet meme used by "mentally challenged" internet dweebs who should be mercilessly pilloried for employing it. It is as unforgivable as "PWNED," "BRB," "IDK," "teh," "evar," etc., and when used in actual speech (pronounced "loal") should be greeted with nothing short of vicious mockery and/or brutal physical violence.

Originally MY NAME before idiotic internet types started using it as a replacement for the emotional response known as laughter, whilst chatting (read typing blankly) to one another online.

Now taken to mean 'laugh out loud' by the entire population, thus negating the need for any real expression of amusement, and making me look like a weirdo named after a chatroom abbreviation.

Lol: Oh hi, I'm Lol
