A woman of Southern United States Ancestory stretching from Texas, Kentucky, Viginia and Florida.

Usually this word is used by a woman describing herself during pen pal, text or email conversations.

What type of person are You? " Oh...I'm a real Southern Bell".

A Southern Bell is sweet down home woman that makes lemonade and sweet tea for her man when he comes home all sweaty from a hard days work while she stays home and bakes biscuits.

A Southern Bell uses southern slang to give an appearance of sincerity or endearment by referring to someone as; Sweety, Baby, Sugar or Honey.

A Southern Bell never sweats.

A Southern Bell is the same as a Southern Gal.

New Age Southern Bell's do not use the term "Well...I declare!"
