scene poser

A scene poser is someone who tries to be scene because they think that it is cool, but aren't really scene. They suddenly change themselves completely. They start wearing different clothes, acting different, hanging with different people; all because it is 'cool'.

You can tell they are not scene because they were known differently before they suddenly changed themselves and don't know much about being scene at all. They just did it because they want to be 'in' and 'cool'.

Hey, who is that girl?"
"It's Amy."
"That preppy girl?"
"Yeah."
"What happened to her?"
"She became a scene poser."

Ironic Poser Hipster

1. A person who dresses like a poser and also a hipster at the same time but fails to pull off either one well enough and thus ends up being ironic. They tend to wear tshirts that they buy from Threadless, converse shoes and skate shoes (particularly Vans). They also wear a lot of plaid.

2. Someone who is deliberately dressing as an ironic poser hipster for the sake of mocking actual ironic poser hipsters.

Ugh look at Amelie, she can't even dress like a poser - she's mixing in hipster in bad quantities, what an ironic poser hipster!

Christina always pulls off ironic poser hipster so ironically - she's super talented!

3. always emphatically claims to not be a poser
4. tries way too hard to impress those who he/she finds cool, and as a result ends up being their little bitch, not realizing that the person they try to impress probably doesnt like them very much
5. wears a polo shirt with the collar popped
6. only shops at abercrombie, or american eagle
