Bananageddon is what happens when banana crops are threatened or wiped out, driving up the price of bananas significantly and decreasing the banana smoothie/bread happiness quota in the world. This could be as a result of floods, cyclones or the disease that is plaguing a good portion of the world's crops.

Cyclone Yeti has wiped out most of far north Queensland's banana crops. Bananageddon is near!
