red dog leader

The no-nonsense, strictly business construction crew foreman. Military style organization and structure is improving the safety, quality and productivity of 21st century commercial construction crews. Many crews communicate on-site through two- way radio, hence the “handles” from the Military operations of the Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan era conflicts. “Red Dog Leader” seems to be emerging as the foreman’s handle being held in the highest regard.
Response to directive given over a two way radio on a construction site: “Roger that, Instructions received and understood Red Dog Leader, Red Dog 1 out”
