Lekkergy- A slang word used on the east coast of South Africa. Its meaning comes from the Dutch root word 'Lekker' or 'Lakka', meaning nice or great. 'Lekkergy' therefore is a noun used to denote all things that are 'Lekker' or 'Lakka'.

That party is going to be heaving with booze, beats and just general lekkergy.

Used by Appalachian moonshiners as a name for their moonshine. Although “Likker” is essentially the same in definition as Liquor, Likker is more specific to moonshine alcohol and sounds closer to the heavy hillbilly accent Tennessee moonshiners possess.
