Leaving No Stone Unturned

Literally, it means you have turned over and looked beneath every possible stone. Idiomatically, it means you've looked everywhere you could and have done everything you could to try to solve some problem.

Dev: Didn't you find my book yet?
Ted: Believe me, I've left no stone unturned and did't find it.

A euphamistic military slang term for the push up position. It is most heavily used in the U.S. military, especially the Army and Marine Corps. Found in a number of marching cadences.

GPS lemming

-noun
an automobile operator who follows his GPS so religiously that he ignores outside information that the GPS is unaware of, such as street closings or other cars being in the way. Often, such as after leaving a sporting event near a large highway with construction, they create packs of cars that generally impede the progress of other drivers.

That GPS lemming cut me off just to slam on his brakes when he realized the road was closed.

An exclamatory term used in conjunction with a surprising or unexpected situation. Only to be used by someone with a deep and refined appreciation for llamas.

Jack: "Oh shit! I just heard on the news that Ryan Seacrest was eaten by a pack of wolves live on stage!!"

Tom: "That's fucked!"

Harry: "Jumping Jesus!"

Bob: "Leaping llamas!!!!"

leading on

It usually means that a girl or guy is behaving in a teasing or sexy way that dupes someone (or several people) into thinking that they will be willing to have sex and/or a relationship with them, but at the last minute they back out of the deal and don't go through with it

(a girl) has been leading on (a guy) for months letting him think that something was going to happened between them but she finaly backed out when (the guy) asked her to be his GF

josiah leming

Josiah Leming was a contestant on season 7 of American Idol. He made it to Hollywood and did fairly well, but was not chosen to be one of the top 24. He is a skilled song writer and has posted several videos of his work on YouTube (username ohjaimes78). He was also a guest on the Ellen Degeneras Show where he performed his song "To Run".

Josiah Leming will have a record deal in no time.
