Start doing a task or job, midway realizing you lack knowledge, stop doing the task or job and act like nothing happened.

My co-worker pulled a Vid again, and now I have to finish the job he started which was due last Wednesday.

Braid-Puller

A naughty boy in school who comes up behind his female colleagues and gives their ponytail or braid a yank for a sadistic thrill; a man who has a fetish for pulling hair.

Billy sat behind Jenny all day long in class unable to avoid noticing how smooth and well-groomed her braid was, and before he knew what had happened he grabbed it in his hand and gave it a good pull, watching her jolt as he did so. He was later reprimanded for being a braid-puller.

It is in reference to Otis Mathis, Chairman of the Detroit School Board, who was fondling his private parts for 20 minutes and then unzipped his pants while ejaculating in his "hanker'chief" while meeting with the Superintendent Teresa Gueyser.

"He pulled a Mathis" wile in the classrooom despite being ill discipline to maintain a focus on education and was anxious about taking a test he knew he would fail.
