Model

A person who poses and has pictures of themselves taken for ads/porn/posters/etc. A models job is usually to try to get clothing and other items sold.
Models are not realistic. Do not compare yourself to them. Many models (especially females) are anorexic and/or bulimic. Models often have UNhealthy eating (or not-eating) habbits. Pictures taken of models are often air-brushed to make them look "prettier" and/or thinner. Models are fake. Do not try to look like one.

Tyra Banks is a famous Victoria's Secret model.
Person A: Look at that model. I want to look like her.
Person B: She is air-brushed and fake. She is probably anorexic and/or bulimic. Please, don't try to llok like her. It's unhealthy!

modeling agent

n. A person who works at an agency that supposedly represents models, yet does nothing all day. A modeling agent normally never returns phone calls even when they say they will. They often live vicariously through the models they "work" for. They are often known as the biggest liars amongst society.

"I've called my modeling agent three times today and he hasn't called me back yet! Oh well, I'm not surprised. He's probably been running errands or something."
