Tidy Friday

A term was originally used in the Park Hill South High School cafeteria meaning that the students are to be clean while eating and throw away all of their trash when they are finished so it makes the janitors' jobs easier. It is commonly yelled out with a response shout of "Tidy Friday" by the audience.

Ms. Sharon- "Tidy Friday"
Students- "Tidy Friday"

Remember, today is Tidy Friday. Pick up your mess.

A Friday when you have to work on Saturday, so you can't really enjoy it like it's the end of the work-week. The opposite of a Bon Jovi Friday.

can be changed to "get your saturday out" to suit individual needs.

Jersey Mikes Friday

The most glorious day of the week. Only the greatest of all come together, hold hands, and pray to the jersey mikes gods. They then shake hands and say "happy jersey mikes friday men" and continue along their path. It is said that if you partake in this event you become of a higher status, very close to a godly figure.

Ghetto Black Friday Sale

A "ghetto black Friday sale" describes any home robbery that takes place in the days immediately following the Black Friday shopping extravaganza. It is assumed that homes are targeted during this time due to an increased chance of new electronics being present in the house, and a general interest by local burglars in sharing in the holiday shopping tradition.

Kevin : So there was a ghetto black Friday sale at my house yesterday.
Dave : You mean some black people broke into your house and stole your family's stuff?
Kevin : Pretty much.
