Git is a slang term that was invented to tell someone to get on discord ; ex: “Yo, homie, can you git (get on discord) soon?” or “I’ll be gitting (getting on discord) soon.”

Git can also be used as a replacement for “get” ; ex: “Sup dawg, I’m gonna finna git (get) outside.” or “You better be gitting (getting) over there.”

Pronounced like the g in “gate”, rather than the g in “giraffe”.

“Yo, homie, can you git (get on discord) soon?”

“I’ll be gitting (getting on discord) soon.”

“Sup dawg, I’m gonna finna git (get) outside.” or “You better be gitting (getting) over there.”
