Senioritis

Noun. A crippling disease that strikes high school seniors. Symptoms include: laziness, an over-excessive wearing of t-shirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts, and sweatshirts. Also features a lack of studying, repeated absences, and a generally dismissive attitude. The only known cure is a phenomenon known as Graduation.

Why didn't you study for Mr. Hames Test?

Oh, who studies for a test anyways. I got senioritis.

the chunks make it stew, as opposed to soup

the chunks can be various paper products, sutures, pieces of dead skin or nails, hairs, dingleberries, mingleberries

senior scream

A tradition in some high schools (and maybe colleges) where at the start of the last trimester/semester of their senior year, they all gather and scream.

Person 1: bro, second trimesters over and third trimester starts tommorow. Are you gonna do the senior scream?

Person 2: duh! Meeting with the rest of the grade after school to scream and celebrate the beginning of the end of high school!!!

Senioritis

Senioritis is a disease that affects approximately 95% of the senior population during their second (and last) semester of high school after receiving acceptance letters from the colleges/unversities of their choice. During this time, affected persons may experience lack of motivation, a major decline in fucks to give, and a burning passion to get the hell out of high school.

John: I haven't handed in that Biology assignment yet.
Mallory: That was due 3 weeks ago!
John: It's not me, it's the senioritis.
