Scotchtoberfest

Akin to Oktoberfest, an annual New Orleans event begun in 2001 celebrating scotch, the water of life, but also involving food, beer, wine, and other spirits.

Everyone looks forward to Scotchtoberfest, a chance to polish off a white cadillac and talk to some beautiful women.

A town that neighbors Westfield, New Jersey.

It was claimed that Westfield students have a vigorous drive to succeed and because of it the town produces more "assholes per square mile."

Sufficed to say, that's better than Scotch Plains' motto: Flunk 4th grade math and become a drug dealer -- as most of them are.

Scotch Plains kids are jealous of Westfield's prosperity, aesthetics, and educational system. Some wise-ass wrote angry anti-westfield crap on urbandictionary, when he should have been studying, trying to boost his 1.8 GPA and his 950 SAT's. Thanks a lot, losers.

Scorched Earth Policy

1. the process of hooking up and promptly/perpetually ignoring the existence of the other party at every opportunity. If the Earth is properly scorched, then he/she should get the impression the he/she simply does not exist to in any capacity. There is no acknowledged contact (eye or otherwise) of any kind, with the exception of a second hookup, which should be achieved with less than five words (or 10 minutes) of ballgame expended. Should this second hookup occur, all questions and comments are to be ignored. Should still more hookups occur, repeat process for desired effect

Meet John. Meet Jane. John fucked Jane, but has chosen to implement the Scorched Earth Policy. When Jane calls John, he does not answer. When Jane passes John on the way to class, John looks in every direction but hers. When Jane sends an angry email, John does not reply. When Jane attempts to confront John in any public space, he continues his conversation/puts on his headphones as if she were not there. Thus, the Earth has been Scorched.

Scotchy

A term used when refering to a student at the all boy school Scotch College in Perth. A 'Scotchy' will often be assimilated with such negative terms or phrase's as; wanker, dick head, tosser, fuck wit, and other such pleasantries. Scotchies are also known for their little success with the opposite sex. This common phenomenon often leads to their envy of the students of Christ Church Grammar School which soon becomes a crush, then a letter, then a sedative and then finally a lawsuit and restraining order.
