The term originated after the famous rapper J-Cole decided to align himself with Drake in an attempt to claim the rap battle thrown against Kendrick Lamar (aka K Dot). Shortly after releasing thier song J-Cole chose to make a public apology to K Dot, and proceeded to excuse himself from the battle. Initially he received backlash for his decision, however, after the world witnessed the lyrical bloodbath that ensued, the world realized J-Cole made the best decision. Thus, the term, J-Coling it was was born.

To choose peace, to avoid conflict, to remove yourself from a battle, to choose serenity, to engage in mindfulness exercises and promote positive-self growth, to guard your own personal and mental well being, to enjoy the little things in life, to make good choices.
